Strawberry cake is a delicious and light dessert that's perfect for spring and summer. It combines the sweetness of fresh strawberries with a soft, moist cake base. Here's how you can make it at home. 

    Ingredients:


  1. 1 and 1/2 cups (180g) all-purpose flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  4. 1/4 teaspoon salt
  5. 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  6. 3/4 cup (150g) sugar
  7. 2 large eggs
  8. 1/2 cup (120ml) milk
  9. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  10. 1 cup (150g) fresh strawberries, chopped
  11. Extra strawberries for decoration
  12. Whipped cream or frosting (optional)

Instructions:




  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a round cake pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another large bowl, beat the butter and sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  5. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, mixing gently.
  7. Fold in the chopped strawberries.
  8. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool, then decorate with fresh strawberries and whipped cream if desired.
